PHYSICAL EXAMS / HEALTH CERTIFICATES
Early detection of health problems can allow for prompt treatment. At least once and perhaps twice a year, your pet needs a complete physical exam. Remember, your pet's lifespan is shorter than ours and a lot can happen in 12 months. Dr. Allen is an accredited veterinarian with the USDA and can issue interstate health certificates.

VACCINATIONS
We use the highest quality vaccines in order to protect your pet against contagious diseases. Our computerized reminder system will notify you when your pet is due for immunizations, tests or treatments.

Microchip implantation is an advanced pet-recovery system that could save your pet from being lost forever. A tiny, easily injected microchip identifies your pet for life, plus a nationwide recovery program speeds your lost pet's return.

LABORATORY SERVICES
For fast clinical services and pre-anesthetic testing, numerous tests are run in our hospital, including blood and urine analysis, fecal testing, as well as tests for feline leukemia virus and canine heatworm. Pre-anesthetic testing helps us evaluate your pet's health up front, so we can avoid problems and find any hidden health conditions that could put your pet at risk during anesthesia. These tests provide baseline levels for your pet and become part of his or her medical record for future reference. For more extensive testing, we use the overnight service of Idexx Laboratory in Dallas.

DIGITAL RADIOLOGY SERVICES
We have a complete radiographic facility for taking and developing X-rays so that Dr. Allen and our clients can receive x-ray results sooner - especially important in emergency cases.

DENTISTRY
Good dental care is as important for your pet as it is for you. Proper dental care not only prevents bad breath and periodontal disease but also prevents infection spreading through the blood stream to your pet's liver, kidneys and heart. Dental Services that we provide include: Dental Prophylactic Cleaning and Polishing, Extractions, Periodontal Care/Surgery and Puppy/Kitten Dental Evaluations

SURGERY
Our facilities at Companion Animal Hospital utilize the highest standards of sterility and equipment to ensure your pet receives the best care possible. Our hospital is well-equipped to perform most minor and major surgical procedures from spays and neuters to more complicated emergency, orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.

BOARDING

BATHS / NAIL TRIMS
We don't provide grooming services but we do offer baths and nail clipping for both dogs and cats. We also provide "lion cuts" for cats that are matted.

PHARMACY
We have a well stocked in-house Pharmacy and are able to fill most of your prescriptions while you wait. If you call ahead, we can have your prescription waiting for you when you arrive.

HEARTWORM / FLEA AND TICK PREVENTION
We offer several options when it comes to heartworm and flea/tick prevention. We have Heartgard Plus, Trifexis and Bravecto at competitive prices.

QUALITY PET FOODS / PET PRODUCTS
Pet foods and prescription diets for medical conditions are offered at competitive prices. We offer nutritional consultations and you are welcome to bring your pet in for free weigh-ins. You may also choose from a wide variety of shampoos, conditioners, flea control products and other pet supplies.
